Meet Guest Journalist and Lecturer in Residence, Taylor Weidman 

NatGeo Journalist, Taylor Weidman, is at ISB currently working with HS English, TOK and Social Studies students, and will be back again for three weeks following the Songkran break working with MS and HS Visual Arts students. Parents will have an opportunity to meet Mr. Weidman and hear more about his experiences around the Earth Day events scheduled the week of April 19th-23rd. Look for more information next week about the what, where and when. 

During the three-day spectacle of the Tiji Festival, monks dress as different animals, demons and divinities to enact an epic fight between good and evil. In the town square of Lo Manthang, a monk dressed as a skeleton performs an ancient dance accompanied by ceremonial Tibetan Buddhist music.
