We are pleased to announce that this year we will be having Intercultural Week, rather than focusing our celebrations on just one day! Intercultural Week will be held from November 9-13. Friday, November 13 will now become an A Day on our ES Calendar.
Our theme this year is Our Cultures, Our Stories. The week will be launched with three assemblies, in Grade level bands, on Monday 9th November. Unfortunately, due to guidelines around physical distancing and gatherings, we will be unable to invite parents to join us for the assemblies. Please know that they will be video recorded and shared with you to enjoy.
This year, in response to our campus health and safety guidelines, rather than having students participate in the cultural room rotation on the same day, we will be planning them across the week. From Tuesday to Thursday of Intercultural Week, each class will visit a designated classroom to participate in learning experiences that align with the theme and are focused on a specific culture.
