End of Year Message from Head of School

Dear ISB Community,

The past four months have been challenging for each of us within the community but in the midst of the disruption to our regular schooling and lives, we have been able to see the strength of our community and the embodiment of our values. We are extremely grateful to every one of you for your support, adaptability, commitment and ingenuity during this time.

We are hopeful that the encouraging situation in Thailand continues and that we will be able to open as close to normal as possible in August. We will continue to update you as we know more about how we will start the new school year.

This summer will look different for many of us. We want you to know that we are still here to support you and answer questions through the summer months. We will also continue to communicate with you to share updated safety plans for August and keep you informed about the current situation.

We hope that the summer brings some reprieve, some relaxation, an opportunity to recharge and to stay connected and engaged with others.

To our leaving families, we know this is not how you wanted to leave the ISB community. Although we haven’t been able to see you and do the usual farewells, please know we will miss you and that you are always a part of ISB. We hope that you can visit us in more normal times and see kids and teachers on campus again. Once a Panther, always a Panther.

To our returning families, we look forward to having you back on campus in the next semester and to having ISB be back to the happy, welcoming, vibrant, inspiring space we love.

To our seniors, we are incredibly proud of you. You have graduated in one of the most challenging years. You have shown your resilience and courage and we know that you have great things waiting ahead. Welcome to our global Alumni family!

Wishing everyone a wonderful summer!

Kind regards,

Andy
