Middle School hosts its first Virtual Assembly

Today, Middle School hosted its first Virtual Assembly. With over 450 students and teachers in attendance, our student MC’s Jackson, Rishabh, and Minnie took us through:

  • a wonderful King’s Anthem performed via Zoom by Ms. Gricius’s Orchestra classes
  • a Drama class lip-synch of Pharrell’s, “Happy”
  • Mr. Jasper’s sharing the PE and Athletics departments’ home workouts video encouraging paarticipation in our Global Virtual Sports Spring festival starting Monday
  • Mr. Dyke showing us students’ Earth Day activities
  • Ms. Meisner explaining the “Rainbow” and “Radiate” projects from the ISB Visual Arts team
  • Ms. Kehe explaining the Panther Pounce Reading Challenge

The assembly was a lovely reminder of how important the interaction between people is in maintaining our community and helping us feel connected. We are so grateful for the ways that MS students and teachers have Adapted to this new normal.

Thank you to Mr. A and his team of students for hosting this wonderful event!
