Parent Feedback on Virtual School
Thank you for your support and understanding as we continue to adjust and improve the virtual school experience for your children. We are seeking feedback from students, teachers, and parents to help us improve this experience. Students in HS, MS and Grades 4 and 5 are completing surveys, as well as teachers. We would also like to hear from parents.
We ask that you please take a few moments to complete this survey by 12:00 noon on Sunday so that we can continue to adjust for the coming week.
If you have more than one child at ISB, please complete a form for each child. This will help us match the feedback to the division or age group as students do engage differently.
Seesaw Support
Our primary tool to engage with students and families during our closure is Seesaw. Seesaw is supporting schools all around the world that are closed, and they are being very responsive, making adjustments based on feedback. Some parents have asked some questions about how to use Seesaw. While teachers are troubleshooting these on an individual basis, here is a link to the Seesaw Help Center.
Two important questions have come up multiple times:
First, please note that unlike other Specialists (Art, Music, PE), World Languages have their own classes in Seesaw. Students will need to logout of their homeroom class, and into their World Language class in order to be able to see activities and post work.
The second is how students complete activities. It is important to ensure your child is logged into the class app, and not the family app. See below:
