Please remember that ISB insists on being a nut-free environment. We do this because to provide a safe environment for our students. When parents are kindly bringing food to school or sharing treats with a class, it is essential that ingredients are checked and that the food does NOT include nut products. For example, while it’s obvious not to include peanuts or walnuts, people may not know that products like Nutella contain nuts. These ingredients cause some of our students to go into anaphylactic shock and could be life-threatening.
Please be mindful of what snacks come to school to help us keep our community safe.
