Our committee has been working around the clock to tweak as needed in order to make IFF safe and fun as usual.
All your favorite family fun activities are still very much in place with food, games, raffle, and entertainment.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our school leadership team, the risk assessment office, as well B&G staff for all the extra work in seeking the expert advice we needed to run this smoothly.
See you all on Saturday for a fun-filled day and don’t forget to “jump the queue” by buying your tickets in advance. Pre-sales continue tomorrow thru Friday!!

International Family Fair – Saturday 8th February – Please wear ISB Name Tags
The International Family Fair (IFF) is one of our finest ISB traditions as we celebrate the many cultures we are proud to have in our school community. For many in our community, this is the favorite day of the year – a real expression of the values and vision of ISB and a great day for the whole family.
Given the coronavirus situation we have been working hard to ensure that the IFF can go ahead and go ahead safely. Our Director of Risk Management, the IFF planning team, and the ISB Leadership Team have developed a number of safeguards with input from International SOS and other infectious disease experts kind enough to advise us.
These IFF safety measures currently include the following:
- We will regularly communicate that anyone who has been to China in the last 14 days, anyone who is unwell, or anyone with a fever should not come on campus. Signs are also in place to this effect at each campus entrance.
- All IFF vendors will be screened prior to coming on campus. This screening will include questions about prior travel and checking temperatures.
- Campus access will be limited to the entrance between the central office and the zig zag path. All adults should wear ISB name tags.
- ISB leadership team members will screen all non-ISB community visitors.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at 15 IFF locations.
- We have spread out our activities to make more use of our outdoor spaces.
Our expert advisors have assured us that IFF can and should go ahead and that our safeguards are appropriate.
Many thanks in advance to our IFF Team, our PTA and to all parent volunteers. We are looking forward to yet another demonstration of the spirit of ISB and our wonderfully diverse community.

NBBL in ISB
Dear ISB Community,
We are pleased to announce that this year Top Flight Basketball will take over management of the NBBL this season. We are honored and very excited to take on the responsibility of organizing this incredible community league.
Our goal is to run a professional, organized league where students will benefit from experienced professionals who share a passion for the game of basketball. In addition to teaching and reinforcing the essential fundamentals of the game, we also emphasize the importance of teamwork, self-confidence, friendship, and sportsmanship.
The NBBL is a community basketball league open to students ages 3-18 years (PreK 1 to Grade 10) of all skill levels. The season consists of an 8-week regular season and championship tournament at the end of the season.
Please have a look at some of the new features of the league this season.
TEAM SELECTION ASSESSMENT DAY
This year we plan to go to great lengths to make sure the teams are fair and balanced. We will conduct multiple “Assessment Days” to give our coaching staff the chance to see every player in each division on several occasions. This year we will also enlist the help of the ISB school-team coaches to assist us in the evaluation process. Evaluation days will take place on the following dates and times.
Please see The Assessment Day Schedule for February below.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
REGISTRATION FEE IS 6,500 BAHT
PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE AT THE CAO OFFICE DAILY 07:00-15:00
NBBL 2020 REGISTRATION HERE!!!
COACHING CONSISTENCY
This year we are committed to having one coach with one team for the entire season.
We feel that it is essential for players, especially the younger players, to hear the same voice all season, from the first practice to the last game.
This season we will make every effort to ensure that barring an extenuating circumstance, that each team will have the same coach for every practice and every game.
SCHEDULE AND VENUE
Once again, the NBBL will consist of one practice day during the week (Monday or Tuesday) and one official Game-Day” (Saturday).
In keeping with our theme of consistency this year, all practices will take place on the same day and in the same venue by division for the entire season.
In designing the regular season game schedule, we have tried as much as possible to keep each division playing at the same time each week. We have also tried to keep each division playing in the same venue to avoid confusion. Because of other activities taking place at ISB, there will be changes some weeks
We will play a majority of the regular season games on Saturdays. Please note that for the older divisions, there will be a few Friday night games this season.
Hopefully, the new schedule makes it easier for families with more than one child in the league to plan their weekend schedules more efficiently.
Please have a look at the practice day schedule attached below:
COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
This season we will have a full-time NBBL Coordinator in the CAO office. The basketball coordinator will be in the office from 9:00-13:00 daily to answer questions, collect payments, and address any issues you have. Our coordinator will also be available by phone and email.
The coordinator will also attend every practice session and will be there on game days to ensure the league is running smoothly.
In addition to the new coordinator, The Top Flight Support Team will also be available via email, LINE, and The New HEJA Team app.
