Happy Holidays From All of Us at ISB! 
From all of the staff in the Elementary School, we wish students and families a very safe and happy holiday. We look forward to seeing you all back at school on Monday, January 13, 2020 (A Day).

ES Community Design Challenge!
We’re getting new play spaces in the Elementary School and we need your help! We want to know how you would design the playground of your dreams and so we’re inviting students and families to participate in our first ever ES community design challenge. ES Explore (ES After School Activities)
All of our ES Explore activities have now finished. 

I would like to thank all of our ES Explore instructors for a wonderful semester.
Next Semester’s ES Explore Program will begin on Monday, February 17th.

ISB PANTHER GYMNASTICS PROGRAM

Gymnastics Registration Semester 2 IS OPEN
The ISB Panther Gymnastics is now accepting registrations for all ES boys and girls for semester 2 2019-2020. 

We have spots available:

  • K to Grade 2 beginner: Monday & Wednesday 2:35 pm – 3:35 pm
  • K to Grade 2 beginner: Saturday 9:00 am – 11:00 am
  • K to Grade 2 Level 1-2: Thursday 2:35 pm – 4:35 pm
  • K to Grade 2 Level 1-2: Friday 2:35 pm – 4:35 pm
  • Grade 1 and up all level: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2:35 pm – 4:35 pm 
  • Grade 1 and up all level: Wednesday 3:40 pm – 5:40 pm
  • Grade 1 and up all level: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4:40 pm – 6:40 pm 
  • Grade 1 Level 1-3: Saturday 9:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Grade 1 Level 4 and Up: Saturday 12pm to 2 pm.

Pre-K 1 & 2 Gymnastics Classes
We are offering FUNdamental gymnastics classes for boys and girls in Pre-K 1& 2 on

  • Saturday 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (1 hour)
  • Tuesday 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm (45 min) 

Appointed adult must escort gymnast and remain on campus during class. Please consult the schedules, prices and the registration link here.

(Repeat) Learning HUB News
Returning Books and Holiday Books Lists
Please help your child(ren) look through their bedrooms and bookshelves to find books that belong to ISB. Children regularly borrow books from the Learning HUB, classroom libraries and the Bookroom.  All these books have ISB stickers and/or Barcodes on the back covers.  

Holiday Book Lists: Be sure to visit our HUB blog for recommended reading lists by grade level, hour of code ideas and some great online resources! library.isb.ac.th/hub 

The ES HUB Team Wants you to READ Over the Winter Holiday!
Taking time to read with and to your child grade PK-5, will help them with learning and provide important family bonding time.  

Why not stop by, visit and read in the HUB over the holidays!

(Repeat) Sock Hop Dance
The Girl Scouts of Thailand presents the Mother-Daughter Dance on January 18 from 5-8 pm in Multipurpose Building (MPB). The tickets will be sold at ISB-CAO office until January 15. The cost is 800 baht.

 (Repeat) After School Supervision
Any elementary school student on campus outside of regular school hours, who is not participating in a school-sponsored event, must be actively supervised by an adult in charge, appointed by the family. This includes being in the elementary Learning Hub (library).

Submitting an announcement for publication
ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.

What to include in the announcement

  • A title for your announcement
  • An email contact for further information

 Where to submit your announcement
4publish@isb.ac.th is for announcements of interest to the entire ISB community.
naiyanar@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School (ES) announcements of interest to ES families.
phremjiz@isb.ac.th is for Middle School (MS) announcements of interest to MS families.
vijitl@isb.ac.th is for High School (HS) announcements of interest to HS families.

Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Director of Marketing and Communications for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.

Frequency of eNewsletter mailings
The ISB eNewsletter that is for the entire community is sent out on Thursdays. Announcements for potential publication in this newsletter must be received by noon on Thursdays.

The ES, MS, and HS eNewsletters are sent out on Fridays. Announcements for potential publication in these newsletters must be received by noon on Fridays.
