(Repeat) Cafeteria News
In our efforts to continuously improve the food services at ISB, we have updated our procedures for reporting quality and safety issues in the cafeteria. For ES, if students have any concerns, please encourage them to report these to the teacher or instructional assistant on duty. For anything related to MS/HS please report to Michelle Ihrig or another Epicure staff member. You can also share your concerns with our Headmistress Khun Usa (usomboon@isb.ac.th) or the Director of Risk Management Mark Hevland (markh@isb.ac.th ). All reports will be recorded in our Logit incident reporting system so we can analyse data and track trends.

If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to contact Marc de Vries (marcd@isb.ac.th) or Michelle Ihrig (cafeteria@isb.ac.th ).

“Told in multiple viewpoints, A Tangle of Knots is a magnificent puzzle. In a slightly magical world where everyone has a talent, eleven-year-old Cady is an orphan with a phenomenal talent for cake-baking. But little does she know that fate has set her on a journey from the moment she was born. Her destiny leads her to a mysterious address that houses a lost luggage emporium, an old recipe, a family of children searching for their own talents, and a talent thief who will alter her life forever. However, these encounters hold the key to Cady’s past and how she became an orphan. If she’s lucky, fate may reunite her with her long-lost parent.

Lisa Graff adds a pinch of magic to a sharply crafted plot to create a novel that will have readers wondering about fate and the way we’re all connected. ”  Excerpt courtesy of  GoodReads.

(Repeat) Grade 5 Musical Production: “Little Red: A Multicultural Fairytale”
This year’s grade 5 musical production will be our own unique version of the fairytale “Little Red Red Riding Hood”! The story will be told from the perspective of three different cultures, based on the storybooks “Lon Po Po” (China), “Pretty Salma” (Ghana), and “Petite Rouge” (Cajun/Louisiana). The entire fifth grade will bring this tale to life through movement and music that they will be creating themselves! Mark your calendars so that you don’t miss this exciting demonstration of student creativity. There will be two showings: Tuesday, February 18th, AND Wednesday, February 19th, at 6:30 pm both days.

(Repeat) Leaving ISB at the End of the First Semester?
Parents of students who are not returning to ISB after Semester 1 need to notify the ES Office, K. Ann (naiyanar@isb.ac.th) as soon as possible and fill out the Notice of Withdrawal from ISB Form to enable us to process school records for their next school.  Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

(Repeat) After School Supervision
Any elementary school student on campus outside of regular school hours, who is not participating in a school-sponsored event, must be actively supervised by an adult in charge, appointed by the family. This includes being in the elementary Learning Hub (library).
