NNR Annual Charity Bazaar!
The Community Association of Nichada, the NNR, will have its annual Charity Bazaar on Saturday November 9th! In its’ 25th year, this promises to be a huge event, being on a weekend and sharing the day with ISB’s SwimFest. Christmas shopping opportunities from over 60 Artisan vendors, food sales and also a gorgeous cafe will be tempting all the community!
The NNR bazaar is the main fundraiser enabling support of 10 LOCAL Nonthaburi charities – who in turn support children rescued from human trafficking, the disabled, the homeless, orphans, promoting life skills and a local free library for local Thai children…
ISB has been partnering with the NNR for many years, and is a proud Gold Sponsor of the Bazaar – be a part of this great cause, and join us on November 9th: 9am – 5pm. See you there!!”

Innovative Boundaries” Dance Production on Fri Nov 1
The ISB Dance Department presents the annual Fall showcase, Innovative Boundaries. This collaborative performance explores the concept of borders and boundaries with visual and staging elements to change the audience perspective. Performers push boundaries between tradition v. innovation in blending together hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, and theater. You don’t want to miss it!
Performances on Friday, November 1 in CCT @ 3:30 & 5:30 with Guest Artist work from Bangkok City Ballet choreographer – Patrice LeRoy. Entrance fee is a SUGGESTED DONATION to the Pakkret Women’s Shelter.

Dengue – Talk and Q&A at ISB

Dr Peter T Guerin, the Regional Medical Officer from US Embassy Bangkok and Dr. Saroj Nimkar, US Board Certified Pediatrician, will come to ISB to give a presentation about Dengue and answer any questions you may have.

Aluminum Drive By Harvesting Hope Club
Harvesting Hope Club is hosting an Aluminum Drive for the week right after October break, 28th of October – 1st of November! Recycling aluminum cans helps promote sustainability and all the cans will be donated to the Princess Prosthetic Foundation which uses them to create prosthetics for amputees. Please help by bringing in your aluminum cans, they can be any type of can that is cleaned out. Donating locations will be in the High School office, Middle School office, and right in front of the Central Office. We appreciate all donations and hope everyone will join us on our journey of creating a more eco-friendly local community!

BBSA – Baseball and softball registration open for 2019-20 season
You can make your payment at the Community Activity Office (CAO) or pay by Thai bank wire transfer. Cash, credit cards and Thai baht checks are accepted for payment at the CAO office. The CAO Office is open Monday – Friday, 7:00AM to 11:00AM and 12:00PM to 3:00PM.
Player assessment will be held on between Monday, Nov 4th to Thursday, Nov 7th. A specific schedule will be sent to parents and players soon. All players are strongly encouraged to attend their assessment sessions to allow the coaches to create fair and balanced teams.
Opening Day for baseball/softball is on Saturday, Nov 16th. Games will generally played on Saturdays with an occassional Friday evening game. Games will continue every weekend until the league championships the weekend of February 14/15th. There will be no games during the winter break at ISB but we will continue to play on Saturday, January 11th 2020.
