3:00pm to 6:00pm September 27 VA Art Quads
Art Studio Friday is designed to enrich the ISB community through the intellectual and creative thoughts and actions of its participants. For this year’s first event, scheduled from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, September 27 in the Visual Art Quads, we are thrilled to have visiting artist and professor at Parsons and RISD, Jill Enfield, involved.
All participants will explore image making with a focus on mark making, texture, and contrast in a variety of media, including; paint, print, ink, charcoal, oil pastel, and cyanotype, with workshops structured so that participants will learn specific skills, have the opportunity for individual exploration, and participate in creative challenges. As the evening progresses, participants will be invited to visit other studios, and to engage in collaborative works.
Hosted by the ISB Visual Art Department with support from the ISB PTA & Boosters, Art Studio Friday is open to students (grade 4 and up), parents, staff and teachers at ISB. Spaces are limited and will be based on a diversity of ages and experiences. To be considered for a spot please register HERE on or before September 19, and deposit the 1000THB per person participation fee to the Community and Arts Office by September 20. Confirmation and workshop selection emails will be sent on Monday, 23 September.
