Course schedules for 2019-2020 will be available on PowerSchool on Monday, June 3rd

by Cindy Plantecoste, MS Dean of Academics

For current grade 6 and grade 7 students

As of June 3rd, you will be able to view the courses that make up your child’s schedule for 2019-2020 in PowerSchool.  At this time, we are still balancing classes for next year.  For this reason, you will only be able to view the courses for which your child has been scheduled, but you will not see the period of the class or the or the name of the teacher.

Here is the link that shows you how to access your child’s schedule.

Please read the letter that accompanies your child’s schedule.

Your child may see his/her counselor starting on Tuesday, June 4th to address any issues with his/her courses.  Please encourage your child to come to the counseling office before school, at lunch, during breaks, or after school.  Students should not come to the counseling office during class time.

Last Days of School in the Middle School

We will end the school year with two days of closure activities on June 10th and 11th.

On Monday, June 10th, middle school students will have special days with their grade to mark the end of the school year. Please talk to your child and look for school communication related to this day for specific information as it relates to your child. In all cases, the students will end their day at the normal time.

  • In Grade 6, students will stay on campus and engage in fun activities throughout the day.
  • In Grade 7, students will go off campus to bowl and see a movie together to have one final bonding experience with their full grade.
  • In Grade 8, students have their Moving On Ceremony. They will need to come to school dressed nicely for the ceremony. Students should bring a change of clothes, as afterwards they will stay on campus for games and closure activities.

On June 11th, all students will come to school for a half-day, ending at 11:30 AM. The Middle School will start the day with an assembly and then students will visit all of their classes to wrap things up for the year. Students will end the day with their advisory groups and celebrate the end of the year.
