Friday March 29th
‘Artistry’
Justin Alexander
justina@isb.ac.th
Dear Parents,
As March comes to a close, we should put our collective hands together to thank all of our artists and performers for the wonderful performances and exhibitions that have taken center stage at ISB over the past four weeks. Our Jazz Band ‘s performance was uplifting and spectacular on Tuesday night, the IB Art and Film students exhibition on Wednesday night was equally inspirational and enjoyable and on Thursday night at ‘ArtsFest’, audience members were able to appreciate the vocal and musical talents of a wide range of high school students.
Congratulations to all of our artists for the time, effort and commitment that they show to their craft and a huge thank you to their teachers for the guidance, support and inspiration that they give to our students.
The IB Art exhibition continues next week in the foyer of the CCT, so please make a special trip to school and take a few moments to appreciate the wonderful artwork (and filmwork) that our students have produced.
Have a wonderful weekend and see you at Black and Gold night tonight.
Regards
Justin Alexander

IB Predicted Grades
Susan Canobie
susanca@isb.ac.th
IB students who are registered for an IB Course and Exam this May have had an updated Predicted Grade. The Predicted Grade is the subject teacher’s ‘best guess’ of the students’ final IB result and is based on evidence of achievement so far in the subject. They are used to give students an indication of their achievement so they can evaluate where they are at. They are also used by some colleges and universities for admission purposes. A March Predicted Grade report will be available for students and parents on PowerSchool next week. If you would like to discuss this grade please do so with the subject teacher, the counselor or myself. This is the final IB Predicted Grade for this academic year.

Dear Seniors & Parents,
We are pleased to inform you that Firstpix will help with our graduation ceremony this year again for personal photographers and/or photo packages.
Personal Photographer
A photo of your child in their gown and cap with their diploma in hand, with Phuang Malai hanging from their neck is certainly important on this big day. But there are plenty of good photo opportunities before and after the ceremony: photos that are more candid and tell a story. Your personal photographer will follow you and capture your special moments all day (9:30am – 6:00pm). You can also share a photographer with a friend (limited to 2 families per photographer). Please click on Personal Photographer for more details and booking. Questions? email info@firstpix.co.th. 10% of the sales will go to the graduation committee to cover the cost of reception.
Photo Package
Visit the Photo Booth near the Rajendra Hall to take pictures individually, or with family and friends. The Photo Booth will be open throughout the graduation day. More details and pre-order forms will be available soon on High School eNews.

ISB’s Summer School will once again offer the HS Summer Work Experience Program between June 17th-27th this year. The purpose of the program is “to secure work experience opportunities for highly motivated ISB students in reputable business enterprises in and around the Greater Bangkok area.”
Additionally, the goals of the program are:
- to provide enterprising students with hands on experience in a career path they are interested in pursuing;
- to develop CV/Resume and Interviewing skills;
- to have students experience the daily life and routine of said career;
- where possible, to have students be engaged in producing real time projects during their internship.
So far, companies such as Lexicon Business Communications, Seagate, Novotel Hotels, Big Brain Pictures (Video Editing), Media TransAsia, and Vichaiyut Hospital have agreed to accept ISB students for internships.
