This week, the school counselors presented course options for next school year to all current grade 8 and 9 students. (Grade 10 students and parents have had several opportunities to hear about course planning with counselors and teachers.) The counselors also presented to an enthusiastic group of 8th grade parents yesterday, Thursday, as they and their students took a break from Parent – Teacher Conferences. Course registration will run March 14-20, please be reminded that sign ups are not first come first served, so registering any time within that time frame is fine. Hopefully you had a good opportunity at teacher conferences today to speak with both teachers and counselors about future courses. If we didn’t see you today at Parent – Teacher conferences, we hope to hear from you soon!
Grade 10 students are meeting with college counselors next week to introduce themselves and look at their possible course selections for grades 11 and 12. Soon they will have two counselors!
If you apply to summer programs or are moving at the end of the year and applying to other schools, please complete the document request form linked here and turn in to the HS Counseling office at least 10 days in advance if any documents are needed to support the student’s application.
