Dear High School Parents,
I write to you today with sad news that we shared with our High School students during advisory earlier today. Last night we were notified that one of our graduates of the class of 2018, Sutheera ‘Tip’ Akkarat, died after being involved in a fatal car accident yesterday afternoon in Nonthaburi.
This is a sad and tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers go out to Tip’s family and friends and the ISB community at this time. We have been in communication with her family and friends offering support and assistance as they deal with this tragic accident.
We know that there are current ISB students who knew Tip through school, clubs, sports teams, and other activities. Some may be upset about this loss. Our teachers and counseling team are prepared and ready to support students and families as needed in the days ahead. If you or your child would like to speak with one of our counselors, please do not hesitate to contact us at school.
Once again, I am really sorry to be sharing this sad news with you. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tip’s family and her friends at this time. This is a great loss.

Funeral Arrangements
The family have informed us that they are planning a 3-day funeral at Wat Kemapitaram Sala 4, on Piboon Songkram Road, Nonthaburi, with today being the first day. The cremation will be on Sunday 3rd March at 16:00 pm
