November 16th 2018 ‘Anything Goes’
Justin Alexander
justina@isb.ac.th
Dear Parents,
The tagline this week is not referring to the High School students dress code, but rather is the name of the musical that takes place this week in the High School. Many months of rehearsals and countless hours of acting, singing, and dancing will prove to be worthwhile as our cast of actors, musicians and dancers all come together for 4 performances of ‘Anything Goes’. The first performance takes place at 3.30pm on Thursday, November 22nd, with subsequent performances on Friday 3.30pm, Saturday at 1 pm and 5.30pm. Tickets are selling fast and can be booked and paid for at this link.
Congratulations to our IASAS MUN team for their efforts in Manila over the past few days and good luck to all of our exchange athletes in their competitions over the weekend.
Have a great weekend and see you at the swimming tonight.
Regards
Justin

College Counseling News
Stephan Golas
stephang@isb.ac.th
Seniors have been quite busy finishing and submitting applications to North America, Hong Kong, and the UK with their college counselors this week. We have enjoyed seeing the excitement on their faces as the click “Submit” on their applications! As a reminder to all G12 students: you should notify your college counselor of any applications you plan to submit that have a January 1st or 15th deadline by next week – please complete a blue form for your counselor to request he or she sends your materials in and have a conversation with them about these schools. For G11 students: our next Seminar will be on Monday, November 26th during Panther Block, when we will talk about how to do meaningful research on colleges and universities.
IASAS vs. APAC SWIM EXCHANGE
Derrick Quinet
derrick@isb.ac.th
Don’t miss the most exciting swimming event of the year, this Friday and Saturday at ISB!
Last year, the top swimmers in IASAS stood united and took on the strongest APAC had to offer. The result was a water-chopping, cheer-inducing, rapid-fire relay event that smashed record times and exceeded our wildest expectations.
It’s time for the rematch! You have to see it to believe it.
This Friday night, catch the second running of the IASAS vs. APAC Swim Exchange, with the combined team relay event starting at 6pm.
It’s fun and festivities under the lights, with Shoshana, Booster Club, Subway, and Cherry Cafe supplying the food and spirit. You deliver the Panther Pride!
Bring the family and support our Panthers, IASAS, and APAC swimmers from all across Asia, this Friday night and all day Saturday at ISB!
GO PANTHERS!
