Sportswear and Soccer shoes Donations Needed!
Do you have any old sportswear and/or soccer shoes for children, that are not being used anymore? Would you like to donate them to support children with HIV?
Students supporting Ban Rom Sai Orphanage will be setting up a donation box in the ES and MS office to collect donations from October 1st to 5th. Here are the items that we would like for you to donate.
- Sportswear (shirts and shorts) for children aged 6~9
- Soccer shoes for children aged 6~9
The donation will go to children born with HIV in an orphanage called Ban Rom Sai. These children struggle to go out into the society where the prejudice and discrimination against those with HIV are still prevalent. However, sports is one way that they have been able to interact with people outside of their orphanage and show that they are no different than others, through playing games with other schools.
Right now, they are running out of sportswear and sports shoes. Unfortunately, they cannot afford these as they have to purchase the expensive anti-viral medicines for every child to take every day in order to suppress the onset of AIDS.
We would appreciate it if you could support these children at Ban Rom Sai orphanage by donating your child’s old sportswear and/or soccer shoes.
