Dear Parents,
I am pretty confident that your children are excited about the short school week this week and being able to recharge and reenergize themselves after a busy start to the school year. Our teachers too are looking forward to a short break as well, although it will not start until Thursday afternoon as our teaching faculty will be in school Thursday participating in a Professional Learning Day.
As we look forward to this mini break it was wonderful to come together earlier today for our Hands and Hearts Peace day in our upgraded Rajendra gym. The new ‘Jumbotron’ screen and improved acoustics in the Gym ensured that our assembly was a great experience for all of our ISB students. Do ask your children about the assembly and maybe ask them to sing the song that the whole school sang together today. After the long weekend, we start our Spirit Week with special dress-up days and activities during lunchtimes and after school. Spirit week concludes with Black and Gold day and Spirit night. More details are shared later in the ENews.
