It has been a fast and fantastic first four weeks of school. I hope each of your families has found some activities to keep yourselves busy, happy, and growing. Our ISB community is thriving and it’s a wonderful thing to see lots of smiles on the faces of students, staff, and parents!
The Parent Teacher Auxillary (PTA) is celebrating a lot with our return to school in August. We are so pleased with our new Parent Welcome Room and PTA/Booster Office. Parents now have a lovely space, out of the heat, to meet, chat or work, and spend time on campus. Please stop by anytime. The door is unlocked from 6:30am-5:00 and parents are invited and welcome anytime. We are so grateful to ISB for this beautiful, comfortable space!
We are thrilled with the turnout at our events thus far, with parent lunches, welcome back coffees, and PTA meetings. We hope that all ISB parents will take part in these events to network and have fun. It is a pleasure meeting each one of you!
As we look ahead to the coming months, there is so much to get excited about. Board members are working hard to plan details, gather volunteers and make each event enjoyable for all. Watch for ES Intercultural Day Sign Up, Adult Education Registration, Welcome Wai Coffee with Heart, Lost & Found display, and our ISB Black & Gold Ball. Please read through our PTA eNews each week and reach out to get involved. Our PTA Board is filled with kind and talented people who care deeply about this community and who are making it even easier to feel right at home here at ISB.
So if you haven’t already done so, please find the Parent Welcome Room, make yourself at home, and check out all the ways you belong at ISB!
