Hello, all ES parents! I’m Mail Faaroon, a junior in high school. I would like to invite you and your children to participate in a recycling activity that will be starting on Monday September 10, 2018. Every Monday, please feel free to bring used plastic bottles you have at home and deposit them at our bins, stationed in front of the ES office. Plastic water bottles and milk cartons (washed) are accepted. The bins will only be available on Mondays, so plan accordingly.
Objectives:
- To integrate recycling into young children’s everyday life, so that being friendly to the environment grows to be a part of who they are
- To inspire young children to make positive impacts on the environment now and in the future.
- To make recycling more convenient for those who do not have access to recycling systems.
- To generate collective concerns for the environment in the ISB community.
- To reduce the amount of plastic waste that enters the ecosystem.
