Our goal for our first seminar of the 2018-2019 school year is to examine student leadership and look at effective strategies for student leaders. As part of this seminar, we will review the roles we play in groups and we will focus on identifying important behaviors in effective team members. Students will practice trying out these roles and behaviors in fun, interactive activities. In addition, students will participate in a high school student-led workshop entitled Lead, Manage and Change: How to Take Action.
This seminar will take place on Saturday, September 1 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM and you can sign your student up here. Please encourage your student to come join the fun- there will be lots of new, hands-on activities and it’s a great opportunity to make new connections. Your child will receive a certificate for participating in this activity.
