Head of School Message: Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Dear ISB Community,

As the 2017 – 2018 school year draws to a close, we want to thank you for the trust you have placed in ISB to care for and educate your children. We are also very grateful for the ongoing support and commitment you have given to our school this year.

We have had many exciting developments this year, such as the opening of our Environmental Wilderness Campus (EWC), the opening of our first Intensive Learning Classroom (ILC), the adoption of ISB’s new vision and student attributes, our Color Now exhibition at the BACC, and many more.

However, the most important achievements and success stories of each year are those that happen on a daily basis within the classroom, on the stage, on the field, during recess, or elsewhere. Those stories of our students, your children, mastering that mathematics problem, overcoming that fear of public performance, progressing in a language, navigating the dynamics of friendships, developing their skills and fostering their passions, bring us much hope and joy. Under the careful guidance and care of our dedicated faculty and staff, in collaboration with you as parents, we watch these stories unfold for each child throughout the year, and this is what ISB is all about – our students and their learning. Thank you for letting us be a part of their success stories.

We look forward to sharing many more stories with all of you but for now, we wish you a restful and enjoyable holiday. We will see you again soon, and we look forward to welcoming many new families to our wonderful ISB community.

For those that are leaving, our Seniors and departing families, please know that you will always be a part of the ISB family and we hope you will be back to visit us from time to time. Remember, no matter where you are in the world – “once a panther, always a panther”!

Kind regards.
