This week ISB celebrated the opening of COLOR NOW – an exhibition of ISB student artwork from grades PK-12 at the prestigious Bangkok Arts and Cultural Center (BACC) located in downtown Bangkok. The exhibition of over 250 pieces of student work is displayed by color palette rather than theme or age and is meant to be viewed and enjoyed as a complete whole experience. The BACC has dedicated a prime viewing floor to our exhibit and it’s a must-see before it closes on May 13th.
Do your best to get to the BACC (free entry) this weekend or next, before the show is taken down! BACC is located across the street from MBK and Siam Discovery Center. It is easily accessible from the BTS Skytrain. You can walk out from the National Stadium BTS stop and literally walk into the building amidst ISB’s work.
Thank you to our amazing staff and in particular our Art teachers – Paul Dobrowski, Kylie Harter, Seth Madden, Trista Meisner, Jo Nichols, and Basil Tahan – who have spent the last year(!) preparing for this exhibit. It is a wonderful showcase of our students’ work and their passion for Visual Art. Don’t miss this amazing show!
Some exceptional artists have been on display there and it is a phenomenal opportunity for our students, and our school, to have work showcased on BACC walls.
