This past week, grade 8 Health teacher, Brenda Perkins hosted a parent information and sharing session for grade 8 parents regarding our Health and Wellbeing approach to Substance use and abuse. In past communication, parents had asked us to run this session to help parents understand issues in our community and how we educate students about risks and prevention.
We will try to offer a similar session near the start of the coming school year and hopefully generate more parent attendance for that event.
