Grades 9-12: Final College Counseling Parent Coffee
This Monday, May 7 the ISB College Counseling Department will host the final Parent Coffee of the year. Join us in the Large High School Conference Room from 8:00-9:00am when we will focus on higher education in Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Grade 12: US F-1 Student Visa Meeting
All 12th grade students (and their parents) who plan to attend a US university in the fall and are not US citizens should plan to attend a presentation by the US Embassy on the student F-1 visa process May 2 at 2:45 in the Library.

Grade 12: Senior Parent Transition
Yesterday, the ISB HS Counseling department hosted a session for grade 12 parents about the transitions both seniors and their parents will be experiencing over the next few months. Find a copy of that presentation linked here.

Grade 12: Final Transcripts and IB Results Service for Universities

  1. All grade 12 students who need their IB scores sent to a university should have completed a form sent via their ISB student email account by the IB Office (Khun Arintra and Ms. Canobie). ISB cannot send IB scores to universities as these can only be sent by the IBO. If a student does not complete the form for the IBO Results Service, then they will have to wait until IB results are released in July and will then need to log on to their own account and send the scores to the university themselves. An email was sent in March to Seniors and again this week with directions.
  2. Many universities will also require a final transcript. All grade 12 students need to complete the graduation survey in Naviance AND complete the clearance form given to them the week of April 9. This is due no later than May 22. The survey and clearance form will guarantee that transcripts will be sent by the end of May/first of June to the university they plan to attend.

Grade 12: Applicants to Australia, India, Korea, Japan
Grade 12 students still applying to university should communicate regularly and early with their college counselor on their applications to universities in these countries. A reminder that all documents needed for university applications must be requested through a transcript request form (found in the counseling office) at least 3 weeks before the university deadline.

Grade 11: SAT Subject Tests
The deadline to register for June SAT Subject Tests is in one week. Students who have created a plan to take a Subject test with their college counselor should register by May 3.

Grade 10: College Night

All grade 10 parents and students should plan to attend the Grade 10 College Night on Thursday, May 3 at 6:30pm in the CCT.
