Today ISB MS students were treated to a wonderful Q&A session with award-winning Young Adult Fiction author, Neal Shusterman. Mr. Shusterman answered questions from MS students ranging from the writing process to his influences and inspirations to what the process is like for books being made into films.
Mr. Shusterman engaged our students with wonderful stories, a terrific connection with his audience, and genuine sharing of his experience as a writer, reader, and follower of his passion. Our students got to hear about the hard work it takes to achieve excellence, and the power of enduring rejection, growing from constructive feedback, and persisting through difficulty.
It was exciting to work with such a inspiring role model. Thank you to our librarians: Traci Marlowe and Chris Bell for making this terrific experience a reality for our MS students.
