On Thursday and Friday, March 15-16, we will host our MS Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences. We include the “Student” in the title to highlight the importance of your child attending the conferences with you to be part of the conversation and learning feedback of the day.  Please note, other than conferences, your child does NOT have regular school for these two days.

By now you should have signed up for one of the two-hour blocks in which you can see all of your child’s teachers in an arena format. We have gone to this format in recent years to provide greater access to ALL of your child’s teachers, as well as to provide better balance of time spent by teachers and parents.

While we try to manage wait time by limiting the number of parents in any given session, there can still be significant wait times at some teacher’s tables. We encourage those teachers to be mindful of the time they are taking with any single conference. We ask that as parents, you also monitor that to help make sure you get to see everyone. If you require more than a 5 minute check in with the teacher, it’s is worth setting up a more lengthy appointment.

Grades have been updated by teachers and can be viewed in PowerSchool ahead of the conferences. This will allow you to focus your time in the conferences on learning feedback, strengths and ways to improve.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday or Friday in support of your child’s learning.
