Happy Holidays from all of us in the Middle School
by Dennis Harter
dennish@isb.ac.th
Once again, time have flown by as we have already completed half of the 2017-18 school year. As 2017 comes to a close, we reflect on all of the learning, friendship and opportunities that have developed over the year. It truly has been a year of growth in all of those areas for our students. We are proud of them every day and we continue to strive to provide students with opportunities to be challenged and ultimately successful.
Our students, teachers, staff, counselors, and administration have worked hard throughout the term and have all earned a rest and holiday break. This time of year is known for bringing together friends and family. That said, however, throughout the school year, our community serves as an extended ISB family.
From all of us, we wish you a safe, restful, and joyous holiday. Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to all who celebrate these important celebrations. And to everyone in the ISB family, Happy New Year!
See you in 2018!
School resumes on January 8th
ISB will be closed for the next three weeks for holiday. School resumes after the holiday on January 8, 2018. The school day will be a Day 1 in the middle school.
See you next year!
Schedule Changes for Semester 2
by Dennis Harter
dennish@isb.ac.th
As we head into the second semester, some students will have changes made to their schedule. While it is not ideal to change schedules during the school year, we do our best to ensure students keep the same teachers whenever possible. Reasons for schedule changes include students wanting a particular elective, a teacher shifting periods, and/or balancing class sizes that have become to large during the course of the first semester.
All students can check PowerSchool (semester 2) in order to see their schedule for the coming term. On the first day back, schedules for semester 2 will be given to all students through advisory at the start of the day.
Students who have had their schedules changed have typically been notified in person or via email.
