Dear ISB Community,
Yesterday, we were informed by Bumrungrad Hospital that they will be closing the Nichada clinic as of 31st December, 2017.
The Nichada Clinic has been in operation for over 16 years and it is unfortunate to lose its service in the community. Bumrungrad Hospital have said that this decision has been made on account of a shift of Bumrungrad’s long-term strategic vision. We understand the impact that this will have on our families living in Nichada Thani and attending ISB and we would like to reassure you that ISB and those at Nichada Thani are exploring possible solutions.
At ISB, we have 5 nurses on campus, an ambulance for use in case of emergencies and we work closely with World Medical Hospital. This decision won’t impact the health and safety at ISB in anyway but we understand the inconvenience this will cause for our community.
We are in discussions with Nichada Thani to see how best we might manage this change in the short-term, while a suitable long-term replacement for the Bumrungrad Clinic is being found.
We thank you for your understanding. Please feel free to reach out to me with any concerns and suggestions.
Notice from the Bumrungrad Hospital
Warm regards,
Dr Andrew Davies
