It’s Orchestra Time! May 31st in the CCT

Fasten your seat belts and hold on….IT’S ORCHESTRA TIME! The MS Panther Orchestras are performing for the last time this year! Each orchestra will show the audience their best “stuff” and then they will all combine at the end for a dramatic finish. Come and watch! Audience members are allowed to toss giant bundles of flowers on stage at the conclusion of the performance…or just cheer…we like cheering, too.

Lost Property Final Display – May 26th

This Friday 26th May is the final display of Lost Property for the year. It will be in the HS & MS cafeteria from 8.30 am until 2 PM.
Please remind you children to come and look!
All uncollected Lost Property will be sold the following Friday, 2nd June at our annual disposal sale. NOTHING will be kept over the Summer holidays.
A big Thank you to the volunteers who have helped with Lost Property this year. New volunteers are always welcome for the next school year.
ISBean – Selling every Friday till the end of school

ISBean will be ending the school year by selling every Friday (until the last day) from 2:30 – 3:30 in the MS & HS cafeteria! Come by and get some bags of our high quality Arabica coffee beans for a good cause. ISBean Fair Trade Coffee is a social enterprise that aims to sell premium quality, fair-trade coffee beans to the ISB community. Our profit will be going to an agricultural community in Omgoi, a remote area of Chiang Mai, to support the farmers and villagers and aid with agricultural development in the rural area. Our 250 gram bags cost 300 THB each, and you can buy 4 bags for 1000 THB.

ISB Panther Tennis Program Coordinator (Paid position)
Position Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish schedule each term with Head Coach(es), and Panther Tennis Parent Committee (PTPC)
- Assist coaches in planning and purchasing of training equipment
- Coordinate program-related issues with Panther Tennis Parent Committee (PTPC)
- Liaise with Tennis community group
- Liaise with Community Activities Office regarding relations to ISB, fee payments, Thriva registration system, annual calendar and planning
- Establish salary and class fees in cooperation with Head Coach(es), and PTPC
- Collect class fees and competition entry fees from parents in cooperation with CAO
- Monitor quality of instruction and learning in cooperation with CAO Coordinator, and with PTPC
- Monitor classes on a regular basis to ensure correct coaching form and discipline
- Liaise with other schools and clubs in regards to competition participation
- Plan and run ISB-hosted tennis competitions
- Plan workshops and development plans for Panther Tennis coaches
- Plan tennis clinics / workshops / camps for students
- Other related responsibilities that contribute to the growth and smooth operations of the Panther Tennis program
- Send out regular communications to all students/parents registered in Panther Tennis
Core Competencies & Attitudes
- Have strong organizational skills
- Have abundant energy and stamina for the role
- Be culturally aware and globally minded
- Be positive, pro-active, reliable and collaborative
- Proficiency in written and oral English with good communications skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills; Microsoft Office
- Possess a passion for the game of tennis
- Preference may be given to candidates with coaching qualifications and/or tennis experience
Reporting Relationship
The ISB Panther Tennis Program Coordinator reports to the Community Activities Office Coordinator and to the Panther Tennis Parent Committee (PTPC).
Working Hours
The position requires on average 10-15 hours per week, though that may increase during peak season (registrations for new term or hosting competitions). Working hours are flexible. Tasks may be shared with committee members to ensure reasonable work load.
Remuneration
The position is remunerated with 30,000 THB per month (10 months per year).

Submitting an announcement for publication
ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.
What to include in the announcement
- A title for your announcement
- An email contact for further information
Where to submit your announcement

tinaratr@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School (ES) announcements of interest to ES families.
