CPR training for parents
The PTA is organising a one day CPR trainings for parents. The training does not only cover life threatening situations like how to handle in case of unconsciousness, serious bleeding, shock, spinal injury, snake bites and choking. Parents will also learn about day to day smaller injuries like how to properly clean and treat a minor wound – cover them or leave uncovered, bloody noses, minor burns, minor head injuries/cuts, muscle sprains, falls from bicycles, etc.
The training lasts for 4,5 hours, costs are: 4500 baht.
Participants can choose either Sunday March 19th or Saturday April 1st. Please contact the PTA for registration or more info.

Parenting and screens: lunch talk on March 14th
What does screen time do with our kids’ brains? Should you set time limits and if so, how do you keep them? How do we balance physical activity, entertainment and learning in the lives of our kids? Do these questions sound familiar? Join us for a lunch session with Alessandra Marazzi Rodel, parent coach, on March 14th, starting at noon. MS PTA Meeting Mar 16 10:30 am Skybox
This is our last meeting of the school year. MS Admin will talk about the impact on young people of social media / online behaviours, and discuss their views of personal relationships under these influences. Meeting will last about 1 – 1 1/2 hours.

MS Principle Forum – collecting comments / questions
The Forum will be taken place on Apr 04. Parents can write up to us at mscoord@isb.ac.th on any general issues (comments / questions etc) that concerning MS. It’s an anonymous communication. The input will be discussed in a pre-select parent committee to generate a report & review with MS Adminstration. The mostly asked questions/ issues will be selected and answered in the Forum. Our due date to collect input will be Mar 17.

Baseball Exchange – March 10/11th
ISB is hosting the IASAS school varsity baseball teams for the Baseball Exchange next week-end, March 10/11th. Please come out to enjoy some of the games!

IB Basics for Parents meeting next Monday
Do you have questions about the IB diploma?
Is your son/daughter considering beginning the program in grade 11?
Is your son/daughter already in the diploma program and you wish you knew more about it?
Please join us on Monday, March 13, 6:30-7:30pm, in MPB1, to learn the basics of the IB diploma and become better able to support your son or daughter through this program. All HS parents and grade 8 parents are invited. Bring your questions and be ready to take some notes. Hope to see you there!

TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCH, March 28, 2017, 10:00 am-1:00 pm
The ISB staff has been working hard all year to make this school a great place for our kids to learn. To show our appreciation , the PTA hosts an annual “Staff Appreciation Lunch” with food prepared and served by parent volunteers.
This year the lunch will be held, Tuesday, March 28, 2017. We need an abundance of food to feed over 550 ISB employees (teachers, administrators, nurses and all support staff). Several food dishes are needed from all families to make this event a success….We need your HELP!! You can sign up for desserts, salads ,meat platters, appetizers or your own country specialty.

Please keep in mind a few guidelines:
- Each dish should serve 12 people.
2.Dishes should be delivered between 9:00am and 9:30am on Tuesday, March 28th.
3.Dishes should be delivered in reusable containers with the owners name on it, teachers name and classroom number.
- Please keep in mind that all dishes will be served at room temperature.
- NO NUTS PLEASE.
