Yesterday we welcomed IASAS schools to ISB for the Forensics and Debate conference 2017. The conference is being held on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Cultural Centre building on March 2-4. There are debates happening throughout the day, you can check the schedule here: IASAS FAD 2017. Come out to hear our delegates incredible speeches and debates as well as those of our sister schools. Opening Day – Varsity Fastpitch / JV Baseball

Don’t miss the first varsity fast pitch softball game in ISB history, this Friday after school. The Panther welcome Satit Ram to open the inaugural season of IASAS fastpitch. Come cheer on our team as they set their sights on a successful campaign!

Saturday brings us a double header of JV baseball, with ISB taking on the Minebea U15 team. Games begin at 9am and 11am on Reinsch Field. Let’s go Panthers!

First Friday with Andy

The next “First Friday with Andy” will take place on Friday 3rd March at 8:00am in the Orange Room (near the admissions office).

“First Friday with Andy” is an open forum for parents to meet informally with the Head of School and address any topics of interest or concern. No signing up is necessary; simply come and participate if you are free and interested.

How not to be a victim of theft

Incident of thefts by motorbike riders (most commonly bag snatching) is common in Bangkok and does take place in the local area as well. We recently had an incident out the Srichaitong gate and have been aware of other instances in this are in the past. A great video has come out by the Royal Thai Police that shares some insights from the criminals behind the thefts.

Please share this with friends and family. These small behaviour changes can help you to avoid these incidents.

Submitting an announcement for publication
ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.

What to include in the announcement

  • A title for your announcement
  • An email contact for further information

Where to submit your announcement
4publish@isb.ac.th is for announcements of interest to the entire ISB community.
tinaratr@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School (ES) announcements of interest to ES families.
phremjiz@isb.ac.th is for Middle School (MS) announcements of interest to MS families.
vijitl@isb.ac.th is for High School (HS) announcements of interest to HS families.

Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Director of Marketing and Communications for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.

Frequency of eNewsletter mailings
The ISB eNewsletter that is for the entire community is sent out on Thursdays. Announcements for potential publication in this newsletter must be received by noon on Thursdays.

The ES, MS, and HS eNewsletters are sent out on Fridays. Announcements for potential publication in these newsletters must be received by noon on Fridays.
