We still have 20 visiting students that need to be hosted for the IASAS Forensics and Debate Cultural Convention, which will be hosted here at ISB on March 1-5, 2017. This is a huge event and we truly appreciate the support of the community to make it happen!
This reciprocal hosting exchange adds immense value to our programs, and it provides a unique opportunity to develop new friendships and strengthen our connections across international communities. Please sign up to host two or more students!
Please note following guidelines for IASAS hosting:
- Host families are responsible for providing a safe environment for visiting students and for acting in compliance with the ISB Hosting Policy.
- Students must be hosted in pairs, or more, with no exceptions. Accommodation can be fairly basic and rooms shared.
- Host parents/guardians will not offer housing unless one of the parents/guardians is present for the duration of the cultural convention. Supervision is required at home during the evenings.
- All visiting FAD teams will arrive Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and depart Sunday, March 5, 2017
- Families are expected to provide healthy breakfasts and dinners while hosting visiting students.
- All IASAS host and guest students will be required follow all the rules and guidelines set forth by the league and host school (link).
- Parents will receive a curfew call from visiting coaches at 9pm every evening to check in with their students.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. Hosting events like this would not be possible without your support. Please click on the link here to register to host: FAD Housing
