It’s that time of year when families start thinking about summer holiday plans. If you’d like to learn more about the various programs available, you can access a database of summer enrichment programs in Naviance. Grade 12
We hope your family enjoys the long weekend!

Grade 11
Has your Junior scheduled the Junior Conference? Khun Jan in the HS Counseling Office can schedule these with the appropriate counselor. Ideally both parents should attend during the student’s free period. We encourage families to try to get these appointments scheduled sooner rather than later. If you have any questions, please talk to your student and/or contact the ISB HS Counselor.

If you haven’t checked out this amazing resource for all things college related, we encourage you to do so! https://sites.google.com/a/isb.ac.th/isb-hs-university-advising/ Use the menu on the left to search the site.

Grade 10
Today the 10th graders met with the counselors to begin the process of choosing their courses for next year.  We talked about graduation requirements, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and using our past seminars (in which students explored their strengths and the subject areas that they like) in order to begin thinking about what courses suit them best.  Registration for next year’s courses is from March 15-21, so students have lots of time to discuss their options with parents, teachers, counselors, and friends!
Grade 9
This week students had the opportunity to get together with their GCW groups in final preparation for their trips.  GCW for many 9th graders will be a great opportunity to engage in a different type of classroom. This is an opportunity for them to make connections, and reflect upon what they are observing in what for many will be a very new and different environment. I have been encouraging students to try and get ahead of the game with their studies, working hard on any projects or preparation for items that may be coming up after GCW. This way this is all taken care of and they truly can take in the experience. Please encourage likewise at home.
