(Repeat) Pre-K Fundraising Sale for After The Wave

For many years, ISB’s Pre-K has been sponsoring a student from from R-35 school in Khao Lak and donating money to After The Wave medical fund, a charity formed by ISB Faculty following the devastating 2004 Tsunami.  To do this, parents, students, and ISB colleagues work together to design and make crafts (cards, Christmas ornaments, and calendars) to sell, just in time for the holiday season.

When: Thursday 8th and Friday 9th December, 7:00am -2:00pm.

Where: ES Breeze Way, and HS cafeteria.

(Repeat) ‘Tis the Season

December 14th: MPB 1: 9:30-1:30

Second Chance Bangkok will be selling their upcycled goods at ISB on December 14th, between 9:30-1:30 in the MPB 1.

Please stop by and do some holiday shopping. Their products are beautiful and fun!

(Repeat) ES Art – Collection Box

Elementary Art is doing a second round of collecting recycled materials.  Any small cardboard boxes, tubes, and easy to cut plastic is very welcome.  Corks and plastic caps are also appreciated.  The collection box is going to be located just off the main walkway and the entrance of the art and music quad.   We’d just ask that boxes be smaller than a shoebox, and no water bottles please.

(Repeat) Love and Logic Parenting Book Discussion Group

Facilitated by ES Counselors, Ellen Thomas and Kate Kersey, Wednesday Mornings from Dec. 14th – Feb. 15th.

If you want to raise kids who are self-confident, motivated, and ready for the real world, take advantage of the Love & Logic win-win approach to parenting.  Your kids will win because they’ll learn responsibility and the logic of life by solving their own problems.  You’ll win because you’ll establish healthy control—without resorting to anger, threats, nagging, or exhausting power struggles! We will meet once a week for 7 weeks, starting Dec 14, and the discussion group will end on Feb 15. The group is limited to 35 parents on a first-come first-serve basis and registration closes on Nov 28. The discussions will be held from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. in the ES MPR. Click this link to register.  You can also purchase the book through ISB for 900 Thai Baht, or you can purchase the book on your own.

(Repeat) Leaving ISB at the End of the First Semester?

Parents of students who are not returning to ISB after Semester 1 need to notify the ES Office, K. Tina (tinaratr@isb.ac.th) as soon as possible and fill out the Notice of Withdrawal from ISB Form to enable us to process school records for their next school.  Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
