MS PTA Meeting Dec 1st, at 10:30am

Join us as the MS Counselors share some  important information on:

Authentic conversations between you and your children set the stage for building family values, understanding one another, and maintaining strong child-parent bonds. However, sometimes it can be difficult to solicit more than one-word answers from your child. This month’s PTA Meeting will focus on how to have meaningful conversations with your child that allow for relationship building, deeper understanding, and investment for future conversations. “

Thanks for attending the HS PTA meeting last week!

We had a very informative meeting last week. Dr. Davies discussed “right sizing” in the high school next year and followed up on ISB aquatic safety measures, Mr. Weiser discussed ACT and SAT exams and Naviance, and Mr. Bradley presented the IB 7-1 grading scale that is proposed to begin next fall. Over 50 parents attended and asked excellent questions! Thanks for coming. If you were not able to attend and would like some information on the proposed new grading system, please see the slideshow Mr. Bradley shared with us. If you have further questions, please email us.

Staff Appreciation Cookie Day Wednesday, 23 November

URGENT                      URGENT                         URGENT

It’s that time of year when we show our ISB staff just how much we really appreciate them.

The PTA is requesting 2 dozen baked cookies from each family-hopefully we have enough that each staff member will enjoy 3 cookies for morning tea!  So that’s a massive 1,500 cookies needed!

Our Teachers, Instructional Assistants, Guards, Bus Drivers, Nurses, Classified Staff and many more look forward to these sweet treats we provide!  It is such a lovely gesture from our ISB parents.

So please get out your favorite cookie recipes!!
