Dear ISB Community,
ISB joins the whole of Thailand in wishing His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great the very best of health. His Majesty is highly revered, respected and loved throughout Thailand and the world for his compassion, great personal attributes, service to others, leadership, talent, knowledge and dignity. His Majesty is the world’s longest serving monarch and is regarded as the father of the Thai people. We are all praying for His Majesty’s health and recovery.
There has been significant coverage of His Majesty’s health in the press and in social media. The Royal Thai Government has issued advice to follow official channels of communication and avoid speculation. Last night the Royal Household Bureau issued a statement informing the country that His Majesty remains in an unstable condition.

ISB has arranged buses to Siriraj Hospital at 3:15pm today and tomorrow. Please contact Khun Ben (benw@isb.ac.th) if you would like to join by 1:00pm each day. The buses will leave Siriraj Hospital at 7:00pm.

Books for ISB community members to write messages in support of His Majesty are situated in the Chevron Theater (after 12:00pm today).

ISB community members are encouraged to wear pink or yellow (yellow is worn in honor of His Majesty as he was born on a Monday, pink is worn as it is an auspicious color for His Majesty’s good health).
We understand that the recent updates from the Royal Household Bureau regarding His Majesty’s health are deeply concerning to many members of our ISB Community. Please know that our counselors and psychologists are available to support students and other ISB community members as we send our best wishes to His Majesty.
