In the rainy season, we are presented with many challenges related to traffic safety on the ISB campus and in the neighboring streets. During the rainy days we see a substantial increase in golf carts and cars bringing students to and from campus.
Please remember, as you are driving through the community, to be vigilant in watching your surroundings. The darker skies and rain cause a decrease in visibility, especially through the windows of cars and golf carts.
For bike riders, it is equally important to watch around you at all times and not just straight ahead. Hazards can appear from all directions and you need to be ready to react. As you all know, bike helmets must be worn at all times when riding a bike on campus. This means the helmet must be on your head correctly and the buckle fastened. We also highly recommend wearing helmets outside of ISB too.
