What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is all about learning to direct our attention to our experience as it unfolds. Rather than worrying about what has happened or might happen, it trains us to respond skillfully to whatever is happening right now, be that good or bad.
Who is it for?
Everyone! Mindfulness is research based and proven to improve the quality of living for everyone. Think of it the same as exercise…exercise is good for everyone, not just people who are unfit!
Option 1: Panther Period
There will be a mindfulness/meditation option during panther period every day 8 in Room 3-111. Contact Mr. Bowman for more information (pbowman@isb.ac.th).
Option 2: After School Activity
All students are invited to participate in the “.b” (pronounced “dot be”) Mindfulness program starting on Wednesdays, September 14th from 2:35-3:05 pm. The program runs for 9 weeks. Contact Ms. Perkins for more information (brendap@isb.ac.th). Location to be determined later.
