We hope you enjoyed meeting teachers, seeing learning spaces and getting a window into the learning year ahead for your child(ren). There was such a positive energy from parents – thank you! We are thrilled to be in this partnership with you.

Evacuation Drills at ISB
Student safety is our primary concern at ISB. Like all schools and large organizations, ISB has emergency procedure plans in place. Each year, we conduct four emergency situation practices, including evacuations and lockdowns. At the start of the year, students are told about these drills and teachers spend time explaining our procedures. Our first drill will take place early next week.
Elementary School International Day Volunteers Needed
ES International Day is set for Friday, 18 November, 2016. This is a fun filled day for the elementary school when parents turn the classrooms into various countries represented here at ISB. Students learn the history, heritage, and culture, of these countries through playing games, creating beautiful artwork, tasting new foods, and learning new languages. This special day of learning only happens because of parent volunteers. If you would like to be a part of the ES International Day team, please contact your country rep or ES PTA reps: Abbie Boudreaux abbiebphotography@gmail.com and Katie Edsall kdedsall@yahoo.com
