Timings for our School Day During the Next Academic Year

Dear ISB Community Members,

Towards the end of last semester, we sent out some revised timings for start and end of the school day, along with a slightly adjusted bus schedule.  Here again are the timings for your reference.  If you have any questions, please refer to the ES, MS or HS offices.  We look forward to seeing you all again soon and welcoming our new families to ISB.

Replacement Maid/Driver/Guest ID Cards and ISB Access Car Stickers

Greetings,

For security reasons all maids, drivers and guest ID Cards must be replaced annually (no need for parents replacement). Car/Golf Cart stickers are valid for two years, so if you already have a car sticker from last year, no need for a new one.

Maid/Driver/Guest replacement ID Card 2016-2017
Maid/Driver/Guest ID’s are now available for printing from the temporary ID Card Office (behind the Chevron Theater). The person receiving the card must present himself or herself in person, so as they can get a photo.

The ID Card for Maid/Driver/guest can be done by completing the attached document. See instructions below and please include the necessary documentation listed.
Instructions for applicant

  • Print out the attached form.
  • Complete application form.
  • If the sponsoring Parent/Staff cannot accompany the applicant, he/she may present the sponsor’s non-expiring ISB ID as proof of eligibility.
  • Bring old ID card if renewing
  • The old card must be returned to ISB.
  • Each ISB family will be issued a maximum of three (3) Photo-ID cards for domestic staff. This may be any combination of Maids and/or Drivers. Additional cards (extra staff or staff turnovers) will be provided at a cost of Baht 200.

The new ID card will be valid until August 2017, or as otherwise announced by ISB. We will take the ID photo and issue the ID as soon as possible. In the event of volume delays, the card’s owner may pick up the completed ID during normal office hours (Monday-Friday between 7:00-14.45).

Car/Golf Cart ISB Access Sticker (only required for new families)
For new parents to obtain ISB access sticker, please print and complete the form attached below, attach a copy of the car registration and submit to the temporary ID Card Office (behind the Chevron Theater). The sticker will be issued immediately upon completion of the required documents.

Uniform Information for 2016-2017 School Year

Dear Parents and Students,

Please find below some important information about ISB Uniforms for the new school year.

Uniform Sales (Pre K-12)

Uniforms will be on sale from August 4 – 10, 2016 (excluding Sat-Sun) in the ES A/C Gym from 8:30am to 3:00 pm. An alterations service will be available in the ES A/C Gym only.

We have made arrangements with a tailor to make ISB uniform bottoms (pants, skirts, shorts) for those students who require special orders. To make a special order, parents and students must go to the ISB approved tailor located near the Nana sky train station at the address below.   Each item costs 800 – 1,500 Baht (pay upon order) and will be ready within 10 days. Specific guidelines have been provided to the tailor with respect to acceptable styles and fit.

Please note that the tailor has been provided with the required uniform specifications. For other details of school uniform please refer to the school handbook for the dress codes.

The ISB Bookstore will continue to sell uniforms throughout the school year. Students are expected to be in uniform as of the first day of school. If you have any questions please contact Khun Chidapha Banks at 02-963-5800 Ext 1130.

Middle School Student Supplies for 2016-17 School Year

The ISB Bookstore will prepare a packet of supplies for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There is no need to buy supplies over the summer as this packet should cover students’ needs. The package includes pencils, pens, accordion folders and notebooks for their studies. The 6th grade packet will cost about 1250 baht. The 7th and 8th grade supply packets will cost about 750 baht. They can be bought at the ISB Bookstore starting on August 4th.

Monday 29th  August – Friday 2nd September, 9am – 2.30pm  in Community  Activities Office ( But before attending first Class.)


All fees must be paid during this period
Class lists and a schedule will be available.

Students should be aware that neither, completing Class Request Registering or attending a Placement Session guarantees that ASD will be able to accommodate all requests. Dancers returning to the same style that they participated in May 2016 will be given priority.

ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.
