Exams are almost completed… we wish the students (and parents) a restful and rejuvenating summer!! What should the students be doing over the summer?? Relax, sleep in, read a book for pleasure and spend time with family.
All grade 9, 10 and 11 students have received their schedules for next year. Be sure and check with your son/daughter and make sure that they have a schedule that suits their needs. Any questions, ask your counselor and he’ll take a look.
Grade 9
Students are also reminded that if they are interested in ISB summer school that they register as soon as possible. We have applications in our office which require specific signatures, please have your son or daughter pick one up. The computers of all Grade 9 students will be collected on the second to last day of school (June 8) – They will need to have All of your information backed/ removed. 9th graders will not the use of a school computer over the summer.
Grade 10
In addition to the above mentioned (relax, etc), we ask that students reflect on their sophomore seminars. Think about their VIA Strengths, Interest in courses and Interest in careers. Students can go into Naviance and review their VIA Strengths, Holland Code and Career Clusters.
Grade 11
We wish the “soon to be” seniors a restful and rejuvenating summer!! What should they be doing over the summer?? In addition to relaxing, sleeping in, reading a book for pleasure and spending time with family, if they are an IB Diploma student, write an EE rough draft and all “soon to be” seniors should research, research, research colleges and universities!!!
Reminder if they signed up… there is an SAT this weekend!
Grade 12
Seniors are off on a well-deserved break!! We look forward to their return on Tuesday, June 7 for their Senior Breakfast, an Alumni Panel and Graduation Practice.
