(Repeat) NaNoWriMo Celebration and Book Launch
When: 23rd May from 2:15 – 3:15pm
Where: ES MPR
Back in November, around 150 elementary students participated in the fun, frantic novel writing challenge of NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month. By the end of the month, those students had collectively written more than 600,000 words – over 20,000 words per day! Now, six months on, many of those students are published authors. They have revised, edited and formatted their novels, designed their covers, written their blurbs and completed the publishing process. The Celebration is an opportunity to recognise the effort and achievements of these young writers, browse the collection of new books, and eat cake!
(Authors: please bring a copy of your book to Dr Gallagher or Mr Whitman as soon as you receive it, so we can prepare for the celebration.)
