 If You Need Support

Our counseling team is here to support any students or parents who might need to talk due to the recent tragedy.  If you notice your child struggling, please let one of the counseling team know and they can follow up to support you.  Some things you might notice are: talking a lot about the events that took place and asking many questions about what happened, having trouble sleeping, or continued expression of sad feelings.

Please let us know if you observe these behaviors continuing throughout the break.

ES Counseling Team:
Ryan Ruhl PK counselor and ES psychologist ryanr@isb.ac.th
Doug Williamson – grades 3-5 douglasw@isb.ac.th

Clean out that closet!

Earth Week is starting the Monday after Songkran.  All week we will have containers in front of the school collecting items to donate and recycle.  Most of the items (toys, books, magazines, clothing, sports equipment, shoes, etc) will go to a local refugee camp helping kids the same age as our students without a country.  Most are from Somalia and cannot go to school here or work.  Some items will go to Second Chance Bangkok helping local designers in one of Bangkok’s poorest neighbourhoods.  As well we will collect E-waste for the first time and recycle it responsibly, thus bring in those old devices, chargers, etc.

(Repeat) If You Know you are Leaving ISB

Families who are leaving ISB at the end of the school year are asked to inform the school as soon as possible using the official Notice of Withdrawal Form.  This helps us prepare school records for your child and with planning for next year.  Completed forms can be dropped off at the ES Office.

(Repeat) ISB Summer School 2016 and Enrichment Camps

(Repeat) Grade 5 Book Sale

The Grade 5 Used Book Sale is an annual event that takes place in April. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Mercy Center in Klong Toey, where the money is used to support the underprivileged in attending school.

If you have any used books or magazines that are in good condition, we would love to help you recycle these books while at the same time contributing to such a worthwhile cause. Books can be put in the drop boxes located outside of the ES Library and Main Office.

Please be aware of what you are donating. They can be adult, teen, or children’s books, fiction or non-fiction. However, it would be great if you could refrain from donating text-books, instruction manuals, or books that are out-of-date.
