(Repeat) Class Placement for 2016-17

Parents who would like to give us information to consider for class placement in 2016-17 are welcome to do so.  Please pick up a form in the Counseling Office starting Friday, March 18.  The forms are due back in the Counseling Office by Friday, April 1.

Please note:  Parents may not request specific teachers.  This form asks for learning and educational information regarding your child.  For parents who are unable to come in to pick up a form, please contact the Counseling Secretary at kunlawan@isb.ac.th for an electronic copy.

(Repeat) If You Know you are Leaving ISB

Families who are leaving ISB at the end of the school year are asked to inform the school as soon as possible using the official Notice of Withdrawal Form.  This helps us prepare school records for your child and with planning for next year.  Completed forms can be dropped off at the ES Office.

(Repeat) After School Supervision – an appeal to parents

We are concerned about the number of students who are currently unsupervised on campus after 2.15pm each day. In line with expectations described in the ES Parent/Student Handbook , ES students MAY NOT be on campus after school unless they are enrolled in a school sponsored activity, or directly supervised by an adult in charge (appointed by the family).  Please ensure you know where your child is each afternoon and that maids and nannies understand ISB policy around supervision after school.  Thank you for your cooperation.

(Repeat) ES World Soccer Tournament

SoccerThe Dutch are inviting you to join a friendly ISB ES International Soccer Tournament on Sunday 3 April 2016. Form a team of 6 to 8 kids that represents your country (i.e. USA, Australia) or a region (i.e. Scandinavia, South America), and sign up before 21 March.

Japan, the UK and Thailand have already signed up!
The tournament is open to all ES students from Grades 2-5 (boys and girls). The tournament will be held on Field D from 09-12 am (astro turf behind the MS/HS cafeteria). There are no costs involved; just bring a parent coach and a referee. Looking forward to some fun and challenging soccer matches!!

(Repeat) Grade 5 Book Sale

The Grade 5 Used Book Sale is an annual event that takes place in April. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Mercy Center in Klong Toey, where the money is used to support the underprivileged in attending school.

If you have any used books or magazines that are in good condition, we would love to help you recycle these books while at the same time contributing to such a worthwhile cause. Books can be put in the drop boxes located outside of the ES Library and Main Office.

Please be aware of what you are donating. They can be adult, teen, or children’s books, fiction or non-fiction. However, it would be great if you could refrain from donating text-books, instruction manuals, or books that are out-of-date.
