Grade 12
IB Mock Exams are in a couple of weeks. This is the culmination of 2 years of hard work and in the words of one of our English teachers, it’s a “celebration of their learning.” Support your student through this time by encouraging them to stay focused, set a study schedule and get plenty of rest.

Mark your calendars on Thursday, April 28, 8:30am. All grade 12 parents are invited to the Grade 12 Parent Transition meeting. Counselors will discuss the transition process to support parents as Grade 12 students make plans to move on to university, gap years, etc.

Grade 11
Colleges and universities are beginning their spring visits and students are encouraged to meet with representatives. Also, if a student needs to take certain standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, TOEFL, IELTS etc, the student should discuss his/her timetable for taking these tests with his/her counselor and register.

Grade 10
Remember to go over your son or daughter’s course selections for next year. Registration begins next week!

Grade 9
Mr Davy and our two interns Ms. Brelsford and Ms. Perkins continue meeting with students individually to review first semester progress. Conversations have been insightful, honest, and reflective on the students’ part.

This week Grade 9 students met with one of the 10-12 counselors to discuss course options for next school year. Course registration will open up on March 16. Please note that the counselor whom the student met with is not necessarily their counselor for next year.
