While we maintain traditional paper brochures, we’ve also made this information available to students and parents online through Naviance. Kevin Sypolts
ksypolt@gmail.com

Hard to believe, but our High School seniors will graduate in just over 3 months.  Graduation is on Thursday, June 9th, so mark your calendars.  In preparation, the Graduation Committee will be taking orders for formal graduation announcements and invitations.  These can be sent to your friends and relatives. Announcement cards are a tradition in North America.  We encourage all the parents to come and see the cards. The cards are mailed to family and friends to let them know that the International School of Bangkok will have a graduation ceremony on June 9, 2016 and that your child participating in the commencement exercises.

Orders for the announcements will be taken Friday March 4th in the HS cafeteria from 10:00AM – 11:30AM, Friday March 11th in the Breezeway outside of Rajendra Hall from 10:00am to 11:00am and lastly on Friday, March 18th in the HS Cafeteria from 10:00am – 11:30AM.  The price per graduation announcement is THB 60.  You can order as few or as many as you want.

The printer will have the graduation announcements back to parents by April 5th (before Songkran) so there will be time to mail them to overseas guests.  Don’t wait.  Order yours right away so you are not disappointed.

You can also go to this google document for the order form – https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1b03lws74E3osrt2iatpk2oztE06k1lKaqQWwr3g9Bqw/viewform?usp=send_form

No orders will be accepted after March 18th.

See the below files for an example of what the graduation announcements look like.

NBBL Scorekeeping/Timekeeping opportunity for students in Grades 7-12
Kevin Sypolts
ksypolt@gmail.com

As we have in past years, NBBL (North Bangkok Basketball League) will hire Grade 7-12 students to be scorekeepers and timekeepers for NBBL games.

The games will take place Saturdays at the ISB gyms.  This is a great opportunity for Grade 7-12 students to earn their own money and learn the responsibility of a work situation.  The students will earn between THB 200 and 300 per game..  In order for the students to be eligible to work at these games, all students (including those who have been scorekeepers/timekeepers in the past) must register at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1F2qNJQiKY6VG_uCTZU-kQFWdR6lXtiqcDEGBCbYBr2I/viewform?usp=send_form

There is a MANDATORY training session for any student who did NOT work as a scorekeeper/timekeeper last season.  This training will take place either on Sunday, March 6th at 5:00PM in the Health Room above Rajendra Hall or on Tuesday, March 8th at 7:00PM in MPB Room 2.  The sessions will last about an hour.  Students are only required to attend one of the sessions.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  As always, please consult our NBBL website at https://www.isb.ac.th/basketball for information.   This is where we will post calendar information, schedules, team listings, etc.
