Mother Tongue Classes

We are working hard at setting up after school mother tongue classes for our Elementary children. So far we have after school classes in Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Japanese and French.

Depending upon the number of children, classes cost around 550 – 600 baht an hour for each child.

There are quite a few challenges in setting up these classes. These include finding a qualified teacher, organizing materials and making sure the children are looked after if a class is later in the afternoon. All our teachers have participated in the same Child Safeguarding Training as regular staff.

We also plan to offer Spanish, Chinese and Korean this semester. We have organized teachers for each language community and put children into groups. We would encourage parents in these communities to think about participating.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me:paul@isb.ac.th

(Repeat) ES Make-up Photos – Monday, Jan. 25, 2016

New students who came to school on or after September 15, 2015 will have their pictures taken on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 7:30-2:00 pm in the ES MPR. Please check your child’s schedule if it is PE day for her/him.  S/He will need an extra ISB uniform shirt for this photo session.

A retake session will also be available for other students from 2:05-3:00 pm in the ES MPR. This is completely optional and requires signing up now.  Students will not be allowed to miss class time to retake their photo. You must supervise your child during the photo time after school.

If you would like to take advantage of this option, please e-mail Khun Tina (tinaratr@isb.ac.th) by Monday, January 18, 2016.

(Repeat) After School Supervision – Reminder
