Dear ISB Community,
As many of you will be aware, the “Bike for Dad” event is scheduled for Friday 11th December in honor of HM the King’s birthday.
Having studied road closures and alternative access routes, consulted with the Traffic Police and Montri transportation, and considered the potential for severe traffic both in our local area and central Bangkok, we have decided to run an abbreviated school day for 11th December to ensure students, parents and staff are not adversely impacted by significant traffic congestion. There will be road closures downtown from 12:00pm, while a Nonthaburi “Bike for Dad” event will also impact Tiwanon Road and the Khae Lai intersection.
The school day will run from 7:20 to 10:20am with buses/vans departing at 10:30am. No after school activities will take place and all students should leave campus at 10:30am (note – HS students may use the MS/HS library until 2:00pm). Divisional principals will communicate schedules for the day shortly.
