We know our MS students are terrific, but every now and then some of our students are recognized out in the wider community for special accomplishments. This week we celebrate two of our students for putting themselves and their work out there for others to see and judge. Both have been recognized for their terrific accomplishment and we also want to share in celebrating the risk-taking, perseverance, and initiative they have demonstrated to be acknowledged in the first place.
Earlier this semester, Kim Yoon (Yunice) was recognized in the Korea Times, an English-language newspaper in Korea, with the Bronze prize in a Peace Essay contest run by the paper. The two submissions ahead of Yunice’s, were written by adults, including an English teacher! Click here to read the post.
Just recently, Jatearoon Boondicharem (Keene), was interviewed by the Thai news for writing his own App for mobile devices. The game – Asteroid Dodge can be seen in the picture of the news article. His game has been in the App Store since June! Click here for a translation of Keene’s interview

Congratulations to both Yunice and Keene for following their passions and putting their own work out in the world to be seen. We love that you are wearing your school uniforms for the pictures too! You show off that you are proud of ISB and ISB is proud of you!
